Spade terminals, also known as spade lugs, are designed to connect or disconnect a single wire from a screw or stud. Their fork- or spade-shaped design allows for easy installation and removal. Spade terminals enable fast wiring because the screw or bolt only needs to be loosened—rather than fully removed—when making or breaking the connection.
